Evangelion Asuka Bust

During my trip to japan last year I picked up this hefty garage kit in Mandarake Akihabara for around 4000Y. It weighs over 1kg and is 1/2.5 scale taking up a good chunk of my luggage weight/space limit but I have fancied having a go at a larger kit for sometime and being a huge Asuka fan how could I resist?

This kit was spotted completed at Wonfes Summer 2010 by Kyokohunter and I for what appeared to be 40,000! (see link http://www.flickr.com/photos/kyokohunter/5464018431/)

After putting it off for sometime I am now ready to work on this kit and will update my progress on here to keep me motivated.

I really love Sadamotos style of colouring the Evangelion characters, so vibrant but soft and will be aiming to recreate that look on this kit.
